Positive affirmations are simple and can help to change your mind to change your life.

What is an affirmation? It is a solemn declaration. Why is it so important to say your affirmations every day? Remember that we learn in a layered system. A simple example is we have to crawl before we can walk.  Our brain is constantly learning from the things that we engage in the most. So if you play music, run, read, play chess, your brain is learning how to accomplish these specific task and gets better with the more practice. Practicing saying your daily affirmation burns those positive thoughts deep into your mind.

So with that being said; it is important to know that you can effect your subconscious  with positive affirmations. Your subconscious is one of your most powerful tools that your brain has to drive the things you want to accomplishes in your life.

what does that mean?  You are what you have learned to be… if your parents ate bad you ate bad….If your parents or influences told you that you are stupid you thought you where stupid….Well that is wrong. You actually are what you let your self be and unlearning the negative loops that keep reeling in your subconscious is the best way to change your mind to change your life…. It is those negative loops that reel over and over and affect our decisions we make.

Well how do I unlearn all of the negative subconscious loops that I have learned.

I tell people to unlearn everything they have been taught and then they will be ready for a deeper change…because you know longer enable yourself to be someone you are not  from what you have learned…you are not your parents or what they taught you….You are not what people say about you but, you are what you think you are bad, good or indifferent.  Positive affirmations are an easy step to help reprogram your subconscious with positive thoughts.

Let’s have you actively participate in creating your affirmations . I will give you an example of some of mine

  • “ I am strong”

  • “ I am using 100% of my mind’s capacity.”

  • “Every day, in every way, I am getting better and better.”

  • ” I am smart”

  • “I am successful”

Now you come up with your own. Make sure to write them down and hang them up where you can see them. I have put my affirmation in some of my paintings and have hung them on my walls at work and at home. You can be as creative as you want to be.


Affirmations help to reprogram your subconscious. When you are operating throughout the day your subconscious is influencing you in your actions and the decisions you make or don’t make. I call it changing the reel pop the old one off and put the new one on and the new one has all of your positive affirmations. If you say your positive affirmations everyday you will see subtle changes in your behavior and changes in what and how you chose to solve problems….now your are making decisions without the old reel telling you that you can or can’t do something because of a past experience. As you can see if you take a look at your self everyone has something or other that is not a true part of their character but, was learned through events in there life…so now it is time to take ownership and control of what is really going on in your head.

You should practice your affirmations at least once a day I usually say mine while I am jogging kinda my mantra.
